New Health Master Program to Start at Binghamton University
Binghamton University is starting a new Master of Public Health program that will begin next fall. The program will prepare graduates to analyze public health issues and work to create healthier communities.
Founding director of the new MPH Program, Yvonne Johnson says the classes will lead to a generic master’s degree where students can choose electives in global or population health to begin with. Eventually, Johnson says there is a goal to develop course sequences for specific concentrations.
About 25 students could be enrolled in the first class.
