Some districts began classes last week either virtually, in-person or a combination of both.  Many of the other districts in the region follow suit starting September 14.

As class schedules have been set up district-by-district, there is no one set time when students will be moving to and from school property and buses making their usual rounds. Motorists are advised they should be prepared for children to be out almost any time of the day around school property but also outside of school when, pre-pandemic, they would normally be shut inside in class.

In addition, there may be more, inexperienced student drivers on the road as bus capacities have been limited by the coronavirus pandemic and there is an increase in parents transporting children and students with driving privileges taking themselves to class.
