More Robbery Arrests Connected to Escort Website

More incidents are being reported to police connected with an internet site that arranges “escort services.”
March 13, a Binghamton man reported he was robbed in his downtown apartment by a woman he had arranged to meet through the website and an accomplice who burst into his home and threatened him with a BB gun and a collapsible baton.

26 year old Melissa Depugh and 27 year old Alex Comer are charged with robbery in that incident.

Binghamtonpolice now say 19 year old Shadaya Spencer, 21 year old Aasin Hassinger, 18 year old Jamel Platt and a 16 year old boy are accused of luring a 37 year old man to a Lake Avenue apartment Saturday using the same website advertising a female escort.  Once at the apartment, authorities say the man was robbed at knifepoint.

The investigation is continuing and anyone with information about incidents involving a website should contact the authorities.

Binghamton Detectives say answering escort ads and using the internet to advertise such services is very dangerous.
