More Arrests in Heroin Ring Bust

Add two more names to the list of suspects connected to a major heroin trafficking operation in Broome County.

Six people were arrested over the weekend.

Now, Binghamton Police, the Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force and New York State Police say 31 year old Tamika White and 30 year old Brandon Gagnier are charged with felony drug sales.

Authorities say the arrests over the weekend broke up a drug trafficking operation that moved $75,000 worth of heroin from New York City into the Southern Tier every two months.

The sting topped off a year-long investigation.
