Moravia Man Accused of Attacking Emergency Medical Technician
A Moravia man is accused of assaulting an Emergency Medical Technician who was trying to help him.
New York State Police say 48 year old Christopher Davis is charged with felony assault and criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation.
Authorities say medics got a call that Davis suffered a head injury at the Betty Blue Bar in Moravia at around 1 a.m. January 15.
Troopers say Davis is accused of becoming combative and choking an EMT, causing an injury to his throat.
The EMT was treated for injuries while Davis was arrested several hours after the call when he was released from the hospital where he was treated for the head injury.
Davis was sent to the Cortland County Jail on $2,500 dollars bail.
