A popular restaurant in the Northern Tier of Pennsylvania is in ruins following a fire.

The Original Italian Pizza restaurant in Montrose was destroyed in the 11 p.m. January 6 blaze.

The fire broke out on the third floor of the building, which housed apartments.  The restaurant was on the first floor with apartments above the business.

There were no injuries.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
