Missing, Vulnerable, 19 Year Old is Found in Town of Union
Binghamton Police say a teen who had been reported to be vulnerable and missing since April 9th is being checked over by health professionals.
19 year old Kyle Nowalk was located by a Broome County Sheriff’s Deputy May 22 at around 11:30 p.m. while walking along the road on Union Center-Maine Highway in the Town of Union.
Authorities say they teen asked the Deputy for assistance. The Deputy recognized Nowalk as being the reported missing person and had him transported from Route 26 to an area hospital for evaluation.
No criminal conduct is believed to be involved in Nowalk’s disappearance.
When the missing person report was filed at the end of April, Police said the teen had no permanent address and had suffered from mental health issues and a developmental disorder.
