Binghamton Senators' standout Mike Hoffman made his first appearance in the American Hockey League's All-Star Classic held this week in St. John's, Newfoundland.  Hoffman was the only Binghamton Senator to participate in the two-day event.

Hoffman won the Fastest Skater event during the Skills Competition held on Tuesday.  He skated to a first-place rink-lap time of 13.990 seconds  Last night he scored one goal and added two assists for a three-point game to lead the AHL All-Stars to a 7-2 victory over Farjestad BK of the Swedish League. For his standout play Hoffman was selected as the AHL Player of the Game.

The Binghamton Senators forward is having an excellent season.  Currently, Hoffman is second in the American Hockey league in scoring with 58 points in 46 games.  He has scored 25 goals and added 33 assists for the B-Sens.  In three NHL games with Ottawa this season Hoffman has no points and 2 minutes in penalties.
