The New York Mets meet the Los Angeles Dodgers October 15 in Los Angeles in the fifth and deciding game of their National League playoff series.  The winner moves on to meet the Chicago Cubs for the National League Championship and the right to play in the World Series.

Jacob deGrom gets the start against the Dodgers' Zach Greinke tonight.  It is the second appearance for both in the series.  Greinke earned a 5-2 decision over the Mets in game 2 going seven innings and giving up both runs while deGrom earned the win in game one with 13 strikeouts in seven innings of work.

deGrom pitched in ten games for the Binghamton Mets in 2013.  He went 2-5 with a 4.80 Earned Run Average before heading to Triple-A Las Vegas.

New York Manager Terry Collins says Michael Conforto will start in left field tonight.  Conforto , who went directly from the Binghamton Mets to the Major League Mets this summer, has one home run and two runs batted in so far in the playoff series. Scheduled start time is 8:07 tonight.
