Meals on Wheels Volunteers Needed

The Meals on Wheels program in Broome County is looking for volunteers to drive or to visit with residents.

Meals on Wheels has an immediate need for people age 18 and older to deliver meals one or more times per week with a time commitment of only about two hours a week. 

Organizers say for many, especially older residents, a visit by a Meals on Wheels volunteer may be their only outside contact they may see in a day or more.

Meals on Wheels operates Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. from various locations in Broome County.
