Man on Mobility Scooter Hurt in Collision with Tractor Trailer in Binghamton

City of Binghamton Police are investigating a collision between a tractor trailer and a motorized mobility scooter that has left the scooter operator with a serious injury.

The man was hit on Upper Court Street near the intersection with Moeller Street near the Jack Sherman car dealership at 3:42 a.m. June 3.

The scooter driver was taken by ambulance to Wilson Memorial Regional Medical Center with what were described as serious injuries to his leg.
