Man Charged with DWI After Johnson City Crash

A Johnson City man was arrested following a hit-and-run collision in the village.

Authorities say 39-year-old Sean Stone was charged with driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of an accident in connection with the January 12 crash.

Police were called shortly before 5 a.m. after a pickup truck rammed a parked car on Helen Street.

Investigators say the truck driver had fled the scene. They say Stone was later found by officers.

Stone was released and ordered to appear in Johnson City village court on February 11.
