Maine Endwell's Little League team is moving on to the U.S. championship game this weekend after an exciting contest against Bowling Green, Kentucky Wednesday, August 24.

M.E. trailed at first but advanced to the final with three runs at the bottom of the fifth inning, defeating Kentucky 13-10.

The team is unbeaten in the first Southern Tier trip to the LLWS in recent memory with three wins, two against the team they may play in the final on Saturday at 3:30.

Bowling Green and Goodlettsville, Tennessee take on each other (today) August 25, to determine who will have the honor of challenging the Mid-Atlantic Regional Champions for the World Series championship in Williamsport, Pa.
