Maine-Endwell's multi-purpose stadium will close soon for the installation of lights, light poles and wiring.  The project is expected to begin on Monday, June 23 and continue til mid-August.

The multi-purpose stadium is home to the Spartans' State Championship football team. The lighting project is part of a gift from M-E grad Thomas Tull and his wife Alba.  It was included in a 2.2 million dollar allocation that provided artificial turf for the school's baseball stadium named after long-time coach Gary Crooks.  Tull played for Crooks while a student at Maine-Endwell.  Tull is the Chairman and Chief Executive of Legendary Entertainment and part owner of the Pittsburgh Steelers.  He graduated from M-E  in 1988.

The High School athletic stadium and track will remain closed until the project is completed.  The tennis courts will remain open.
