Jared Kraham and Joe Burns were interviewed on the Binghamton Now program Wednesday morning.

The candidates discussed crime, police reform and efforts to provide more assistance to city residents who don't have access to adequate housing.

Kraham has been Mayor Richard David's executive assistant since 2014. Burns has been a member of Binghamton City Council since 2020.

Both men are hoping to succeed David, who is completing his second four-year term as mayor.
