Lettuce & Cauliflower Distributed in New York and Pennsylvania Recalled
A company linked to a contaminated lettuce scare in November is now recalling cauliflower distributed in New York and Pennsylvania.
Adam Brothers Farming of Santa Maria, California is linked to possible E. coli contamination.
The company has distributed produce, including red and green leaf lettuce and cauliflower to wholesalers in the Northeast and issued the recall in cooperation with the Food and Drug Administration “Out of an abundance of caution.”
Inspectors say there was sediment from a reservoir found close to where the food that tested positive earlier for E. coli was grown.
There have been no illnesses reported.
