This August marks the 40th anniversary of Broome County’s Spiedie Fest and Balloon Rally and to kick off the celebration on Friday, August 2, they’re throwing a huge party!

From a country star to an artist that Billboard Magazine has named one of the hottest rising stars in country music, to a nationally known DJ who’s played massive venues like Madison Square Garden, these acts will be performing at the Friday night party at Spiedie Fest.

Niko Moon is a country singer-songwriter. Moon has not only pursued a successful solo career but has also written songs for artists like Dierks Bentley, Zac Brown Band, Rascal Flatts, and Morgan Wallen.

Moon's career breakthrough came as a co-writer for songs performed by the Zac Brown Band. Notable collaborations include writing credits for hits like "Homegrown," "Beautiful Drug," "Heavy is the Head," "Keep Me in Mind," and "Loving You Easy." In addition to songwriting, Moon co-produced the Zac Brown Band albums "Jekyll+Hyde" and "Welcome Home" and teamed up with the band to write the track, "Back to Life."

Beyond his work with the Zac Brown Band, Moon has showcased his talents and versatility in collaborating with other artists. He appeared on Colt Ford's album "Every Chance I Get" where he collaborated with Nappy Roots on the track "Waste Some Time."

In 2010, under the name Nic Cowan, Moon self-released his debut EP titled "Cheap Wine." The following year, he released his first full-length album, "Hard Headed," which includes "Cut it Loose" featuring Zac Brown.

Moon's artistic journey took an exciting turn in 2016 when he formed the group Sir Rosevelt alongside Zac Brown and Ben Simonetti. The group released songs like "The Bravest," which gained recognition when it was used during the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

In 2019, Niko Moon released his debut studio album, "Good Time." The album features the hit single "Good Time," which reached number 1 on the US Country Airplay chart and has been certified 3x Platinum by the RIAA.

Moon released his second studio album, "Better Days," in January of 2024, under the label Happy Cowboy Records.

Shaboozey

Shaboozey is a singer-songwriter, filmmaker, record producer, and TikTok star.

Shaboozey's musical style blends various genres, including hip-hop, country, rock, and Americana. In 2018, Shaboozey gained recognition for his collaboration with Duckwrth on "Start a Riot." The song was part of the soundtrack for the movie "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse."

In April of 2024 and in only two weeks, Shaboozey reached number one on the Hot Country Songs chart with his single "A Bar Song (Tipsy)". Also in 2024, Shaboozey collaborated with Beyoncé on two tracks featured on her eighth studio album, titled "Cowboy Carter."

Shaboozey's debut album, "Lady Wrangler," was released in 2018 under Republic Records. The following year, he released his second studio album, "Cowboys Live Forever, Outlaws Never Die," through Empire.

Shaboozey has his sights set on his third studio album, "Where I've Been, Isn't Where I'm Going," scheduled for release on May 31, 2024.

DJ Aydamn is a highly acclaimed DJ and solo artist. Voted Nashville's #1 DJ for four consecutive years, Aydamn has significantly impacted the music scene with his powerful performances and electrifying mixes.

Originally from St. Louis, Aydamn began his music career in the early 2000s as a punk rock band Losers Luck member, appearing on the Warped Tour. After relocating to Nashville in 2011 to pursue a solo career, Aydamn's musical focus shifted toward hip-hop and EDM.
