The holidays are over. We are in those three months (at least) when it's cold and gloomy. What to look forward to?

Well, warmer weather and longer daylight hours for one. That's a given. Here's something to look forward to - another great concert season. What will this year bring us? While we don't have a crystal ball to know what acts each venue will bring in 2025, some are beginning to reveal their shows.

In 2024, we had a lot of choices for great concerts from Country to Pop to Classic Rock. Venues like the Broome County Arena, Tioga Downs, Broome County Forum, Tags in Big Flats, F.M. Kirby Center and Mohegan Arena in Wilkes-Barre, PA, the Amphitheater at Lakeview in Syracuse, and Bethel Woods Center for the Arts in Bethel to name a few venues throughout Upstate New York and Northeast Pennsylvania.

Some venues have already lined up a couple of acts, while others will begin to be announced shortly for the 2025 concert season. It's exciting to find out just what acts will be coming to the Southern Tier and Upstate New York Venues, as well as Northeastern Pennsylvania.

The next great show in the docket locally is 'Get The Led Out - A Celebration of the Mighty Zep' coming to the Broome County Forum Theater on February 6th. Tickets are available at the Mirabito Box Office at the Visions Veterans Memorial Arena and through Ticketmaster outlets.

So far at Bethel Woods, Avril Lavigne will be on stage and Weird Al Yankovic will be entertaining Bethel Woods as well this summer. Many more concerts are to be announced soon.

At the Amphitheater at Lakeview, several concerts are already lined up, including Classic Rockers Styx, Reo Speedwagon, and Kevin Cronin. On the Country music scene, Thomas Rhett will be making an appearance, and on the Pop side, Avril Lavigne.

Tags has yet to announce any show, but you know there will be some great concerts lined up for the stage in Big Flats.

Who are you hoping to see in concert this year? Stay tuned for concert announcements from us throughout the year on air, our station app, and website,  and of course, your opportunity to win tickets!
