I sometimes wonder how some ideas get their start. Just imagine people in a boardroom, discussing ways to make their product(s) better. Look at the Walt Disney Company. They are always in a state of change. What did Walt once say?

Disneyland will never be completed. It will continue to grow as long as there is imagination left in the world. - Walt Disney

Well as that may be, some changes, or in these cases, additions to existing popular products, are subject to debate whether they are good or not.

Two companies have recently announced a new product that has quite a twist. One is from the company that produced the Sunny D orange-flavored drink product, (which I enjoy much to my wife's dismay) and Van Leeuwen Ice Cream, which is sold nationwide including Walmart stores.

Let's begin with the ice cream. Cision PR Web reports that Van Leeuwen Ice Cream is rolling out seven new spring flavors. One is in honor of National Ranch Day, collaborating with Hidden Valley Ranch creating a product called Hidden Valley Ranch Ice Cream. Now I'm trying to wrap that around my head. French ice cream with a ranch dressing flavor.

According to Cision PR Web, "...the Hidden Valley Ranch x Van Leeuwen flavor delivers a surprisingly tasty twist on the sweet treat. The ice cream boasts the savory flavors of ranch, including buttermilk, flavorful herbs, and a touch of sweetness, creating a delicious treat that pairs perfectly with salty snacks." Well, we'll give it a try. It's only available at Walmart and will be on the shelves from March 20th through May 28th.

Next interesting product? Sunny D Vodka. Now that sounds like a drink I would like to sample. According to Cision PR Web, SunnyD Vodka Seltzer is rolling out a four-pack nationwide at select Walmart stores beginning Saturday, March 11, 2023.

Cision PR Web states that the Sunny D Vodka 4-pack consists of 12-ounce slim cans featuring a bold orange flavor, made with real fruit juice, 0 grams of sugar, and 4.5 percent alcohol by volume.

Will you try either of these products? I might try the vodka, but the ice cream, I'm not so sure.
