There's a lot to love about the Southern Tier of New York. No matter the season, there's always something fun to do or see. Sure during the colder months, the options narrow a bit, but there are still a lot of places to visit and enjoy.

For example, if you love the outdoors, we have skiing, snowboarding, and cross-country skiing options as well as snowmobile trails to ride on, of course, dep[ending on Mother Nature providing us with snow.

Museums are a great place to visit during the winter months, and of course, we have sporting events to enjoy. So, if someone from out of the area were to visit our area, and was looking for some interesting things to check out, what would you recommend?

There are certainly many options. I came up with a few that might interest that out-of-towner to visit in the Southern Tier as far west as Jamestown, north to the Ithaca area,  east to Deposit, and even though it's a bit northeast, worthy of a trip to Cooperstown.

How many of these New York State Southern Tier attractions and museums have you visited?
