Ithaca Residents Arrested in Tompkins County Drug Investigation

Three Ithaca residents are facing charges following a drug raid in Tompkins County.

New York State Police along with the Ithaca and Groton Police and Tompkins County Sheriff's Office have been conducting an investigation into drug activity in the Enfield area over three months.

August 1st, authorities arrested 29 year old Charles Padmore and his roommate, 23 year old Desiree Ward on four counts each of criminal possession of a controlled substance and one count each of criminal possession of a weapon.

23 year old Rachel Lefferts is also charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Authorities say they executed search warrants at Ward and Padmore's apartment  and on Lefferts' vehicle.

Police say they seized heroin, cocaine and methamphetamine worth over $25,000 and three firearms.

All three suspects were sent to the Tompkins County Jail without bail.
