A group of people participated in a Binghamton demonstration to encourage the House of Representatives to vote to impeach President Trump.

The rally was held Tuesday afternoon near the MetroCenter on Court Street. Rep. Anthony Brindisi's regional office is located in the complex.

The local demonstration drew members of a group called Indivisible Binghamton, which describes itself as a grassroots organization "dedicated to defeating the Trump agenda."

Brindisi for months had expressed reluctance to support impeachment, encouraging people not to rush to judgment. He now has concluded there is "sufficient evidence to move forward with a Senate trial."
