Hillcrest Man is Accused of Promoting Child Pornography

A Hillcrest man is accused of possessing child pornography.

New York State Police say they searched 75 year old Ray Parkes’ Franklin Avenue home and arrested the Town of Fenton resident July 25.

Troopers say Parkes’ computer was searched by investigators with the Computer Crime Unit.

Parkes is charged with three felony counts of promoting a sexual performance by a child under the age of 17 and one felony count of possessing a sexual performance of a child less than 16 years old.

He was sent to the Broome County Jail on $5,000 bail.
