Greater Binghamton Chamber Starts Discussions on Legal Marijuana
The Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce is starting its series of discussions for employers on how the expected legalization of marijuana will effect them.
The series of Eggs and Issues sessions on marijuana started April 18 at the Holiday Inn in downtown Binghamton with other events scheduled for May 16th, May 30th and June 14th.
Speakers include members of the Southern Tier Association for Human Resources, Hinman Howard & Kattell law firm and Express Employment Professionals.
Organizers say the workplace is going to be looking at changes in the handling of healthcare, employer/employee relations and legal policy as well as the economic impact of liability issues.
The cost of attending the program is $15 for Greater Binghamton Chamber members.
