Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a bank robbery in Susquehanna County.

Authorities say a man, dressed in black and wearing a black baseball hat entered the NBT Bank on State Route 11 in Great Bend Township at 1:52 p.m. October 13 and wrote a note demanding money and indicating he had a bomb in a soft-sided cooler.

The man is white, stands 6’, 2” tall, has blue eyes and unshaven facial hair.

He drove off with an undisclosed amount of money in a white, four-door sedan with New York State license plates.  The car had black rims.

There were no injuries and authorities say the alleged bomb was fake.

Troopers were assisted at the scene by the FBI and the Scranton Police Bomb Unit.
