Golf Fore Good is being held at Center Court in the Oakdale Mall this weekend.  It is a unique fund-raising event for the Discovery Center Foundation, a group that helps with projects and improvements for the Discovery Center.  Sponsors have provided a nine hole miniature golf course that challenges contestants to make some unique shots like banking a putt off the inside of a new Honda CRV courtesy of Miller Honda and and placing a shot through a toilet arranged by Auchinachie Plumbing and Heating.

Any age can play and it's perfect fun for families.  A donation of $3.00 per person is requested per round and a group of four can play for a total of $10.  Contestants also get to spin a giant prize wheel to win a prize before they play their first hole.

The indoor play began August 20 and continues through the close of the Mall on Sunday evening.  Four mascots took part in the opening festivities along with WNBF's Roger Neel.  Stinger from SUNY Broome, Baxter the Bearcat from Binghamton University and Buddy the Bee and Ballwinkle from the Binghamton Mets were on hand to play a round and get the tournament going.
