Binghamton University standout Jesse Garn finished fourth in the nation in the 800 finals at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Eugene, Oregon on Friday night.  His performance earns him All-America honors.Garn ran a time of 1:49:74 just :48 behind the champion, Edward Kemboi from Iowa State.  Kemboi also won the 800 NCAA Indoor Championship.

Garn earned Honorable Mention All-America honors at the NCAA indoor meet in March. He has another year of eligibility remaining in both indoor and outdoor track.

On Thursday sophomore Keishorea Armstrong earned Honorable Mention All-America status with a 24th-place finish in the women's long jump.  Armstrong has two years of eligibility remaining in both indoor and outdoor track.

Both Bearcat standouts along with assistant coach Annette Acuff will appear on WNBF First News with Roger Neel on Tuesday morning at 8:35 AM.
