Game two in the World Series in Kansas City has the Royals up over the New York Mets by both games.

In the first game between the two October 27-28 Kansas City beat the Mets 5-4 in 14 innings.  The game lasted five hours and nine minutes and was the longest Game 1 in World Series history.

The Mets sank in game 2 7-1 to the Royals

Jacob deGrom made the start for the Mets against Johnny Cueto.  Kansas City made no change in their starting lineup.  Eight players who spent time playing for the Binghamton Mets, started for New York including deGrom.
