Several "Trunk or Treat" events are planned around the region.  Check your neighborhood for signs advertising times and locations.  One of those events, which also includes a Haunted House is at the Schorr Family Firehouse Stage and Goodwill Theatre at the corner of Willow Street and Corliss Avenue in Johnson City.  The candy and scares flow from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Halloween.

Parents and guardians should remember to make sure children's costumes are easily seen by motorists, kids can see easily where they are going and don't present a trip hazard.
