The former head of the Tioga County Boys and Girls Club will be sentenced in July after pleading guilty to grand larceny.

43 year old Valerie Demkovich of Endicott is accused of using the not for profit agency's credit card to buy personal items over two years including gasoline, tires for her car and airfare for two trips to Arizona.

Under the plea deal, Demkovich is expected to be sentenced to probation and ordered to reimburse the money she took from the Boys and Girls Club. The agency estimates that amount is over $10,800, but the Court is looking into records to come up with the exact amount Demkovich will have to pay back.

The Endicott woman is free while awaiting sentencing.

The theft was discovered in a monthly review. Demkovich was fired in November of last year. She was arrested in early January.
