The Chenango Forks Blue Devils rocked rival Chenango Valley 43-27 October 24 at Blue Devil Stadium.  Forks now has won 22 consecutive meetings between the two schools.  The win closes out the regular season with the Blue Devils finishing with a 7-1 record.  CV drops to 5-3.  Both teams are headed to the playoffs beginning next weekend.

Chenango Forks inserted senior Tony Silvanic at quarterback in the second quarter.  That enabled starting quarterback L.J. Watson to concentrate on running the football and enabled him to score three touchdowns.  Silvanic, a tenacious defender helped pace the offense.  At 6' 1" and 225 he often would pitch to one of his running backs and lead the blocking at the point of attack.

Another big game came from running back Tim McDonald who scored a pair of touchdowns plus a two-point conversion.  Chenango Forks was ahead 29-7 at the half and was up 43-7 before bringing in second and third team personnel late in the third quarter.

For the Warriors quarterback Mark Mullins found the range on two touchdowns strikes.  The first TD pass was a 70-yard pass run to Chris Vegiard.  The second touchdown pass went to Sam Trebilcock from seven yards out.
