Florida Fugitive Apprehended In Binghamton

A man sought by Florida authorities has been tracked down by police in Binghamton.

Investigators say 31-year-old James McBride was taken into custody by members of the United States Marshals Regional Fugitive Task Force at a Mygatt Street apartment house.

Authorities say McBride was in a relative's apartment. They say he was wanted by police in Broward County for burglary of an occupied dwelling and grand theft.

McBride was sent to Broome County Jail without bail to await extradition to Florida.
