Fire Damages Businesses on the Vestal Parkway East

Investigators are looking into the cause of a fire at 11:43 p.m. May 7 at a small strip mall on the Vestal Parkway East.

Emergency Services officials say the fire at the mall across from the Skylark Diner apparently started in a lower level. There were no reports of injuries and no word on just what businesses were damaged and how badly they were damaged.

Among the businesses in the plaza are a nail salon, Bar Bells of Binghamton and the Computer Emergency Room.
