Fire Damages Apartment Building on Emma Street

The investigation is underway into the cause of a blaze that sent City of Binghamton fire crews to an apartment house on Emma Street December 15.

That blaze in a former bar was reported at around 11:05 p.m. Saturday.

In spite of a quick response from City firefighters, damage to the building was described as significant on the first floor.

There were no injuries.
