Ex-Bearcat Helps to Topple B-Mets

Former Binghamton Bearcat ace Mike Augliera started on the mound May 4 for the Portland Sea Dogs when they met the Binghamton Mets at NYSEG Stadium, helping to continue a B-Mets slide.

The B-Mets fell to the Sea Dogs 4-1.

The B-Mets had a six-game winning streak snapped May 3 by the New Hampshire Fisher Cats in a 12-11 extra-inning contest.  Josh Rodriguez had a huge day at the plate for Binghamton.  He drove in seven runs including four with a grand slam home run.
