On July 29th, 2025, according to the New York State Police headquarters in Endwell, New York, they released a statement, asking for assistance from the public about a stolen horse.

Sometime between July 23rd and July 24th, New York State Police noted that the horse, named Koda, was taken from a fenced-in property on Struble Road in the Town of Union.

New York State Police in Endwell describe the horse as a neutered male, and he is a flea-bitten grey color, meaning he is grey with flecks of red. Koda has a darker muzzle.

The horse has two brands. One is on his front left shoulder (a Roman letter “L” that looks like an upside-down “Y”).

The other is on the rear left flank (looks like an arrow pointing up with a line underneath it).

New York State Police say that Koda's owners are also concerned about him because he has special dietary restrictions.
