Endicott Man Slashed in Backyard by Out-of-State Intruder
Police have arrested a suspect after he allegedly attacked a person when he was ordered to leave an Endicott property.
The incident was reported around 9:40 p.m. Thursday at 11 North Liberty Avenue.
According to Endicott police, 23-year-old Kyron Milner of Connecticut was in the backyard of a residence when he was confronted by a woman who told him to leave.
Milner is said to have refused several directives to get off the property. Investigators said he grabbed the woman by the arm when she tried to remove his personal items from the backyard.
Milner allegedly advised the resident he had a knife. The woman's 19-year-old son then became aware of the dispute and tried to defend his mother.
Milner is accused of using a makeshift knife to cut the other man on the arm during a scuffle.
The son was treated at Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton and released.
Milner was charged with second-degree assault and second-degree menacing. He also faces counts of criminal possession of a weapon, obstructing governmental administration and trespass. He was arraigned and ordered held at Broome County Jail without bail.
An Endicott police department news release indicated the incident remained under investigation.
