A Broome County Court jury has convicted a man on a pair of drug-related charges in connection with his arrest in the city of Binghamton.

Prosecutors described 41-year-old Davon Johnson of Endicott as a "drug dealer." They said he possessed crack cocaine with the intent to sell.

Johnson was arrested by the Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force in October 2018. He was indicted by a grand jury last April.

Johnson was found guilty Wednesday of criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony. He also was convicted of criminally using drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor.

Sentencing was scheduled for June 1.
