An Endicott man faces several charges after a high-speed chase in Endwell.

Authorities say 32-year-old Samuel Crawford of Jenkins Street allegedly did not pull over when a Broome County sheriff's sergeant tried to stop him Thursday on East Main Street.

According to the sheriff's office, Crawford nearly struck several vehicles during a pursuit. He stopped his car at the dead end of Brink Street and ran away.

Two passengers in the car were questioned and then released.

Crawford later was apprehended by Endicott, Vestal and state police behind Barnaby's Restaurant on East Main Street.

Crawford was charged with reckless endangerment, unlawfully fleeing a police officer and reckless driving. He was arraigned in Union town court and sent to Broome County Jail.
