Three downstate residents are facing several charges after the Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force and the Metro SWAT Team searched a Lydia Street, Binghamton home November 8.

Authorities recovered a loaded .45 caliber pistol, 11 1/2 grams of suspected heroin mixed with fentanyl, 57 glassine envelopes containing a suspected mix of fentanyle and heroin, 13 grams of crack cocaine, knotted wraps ang gelatin capsules of crack cocaine packaged for sale, drug packaging materials and scales and around 600 dollars in suspected drug proceeds.

33 year old Lee Kennedy of Brooklyn, 32 year old Kevin Palmer of Brooklyn and 18 year old Zatara Byrd of the Bronx were arrested Wednesday.

All three are charged with felony criminal possession of a weapon, numerous felony counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminally using drug paraphernalia.

Kennedy, Palmer and Byrd were sent to the Broome County Jail without bail.
