Don Giovanni Returns to WNBF

Local Radio Personality Don Giovanni is coming back home to the WNBF airwaves beginning the weekend of March 6^th & 7^th with two longtime fan favorites, the Sinatra Show and the Italian House Party.

Binghamton native Don Giovanni has been entertaining radio audiences with great music and conversation for over three decades, and yesterday we made it official, he is part of the WNBF family once again.

Saturday nights from 6p to 9p, the WNBF airwaves will be filled with the music of one of the greatest entertainers of all time, the legendary Frank Sinatra

And each Sunday from Noon to 3p following the Bill Flynn Polka Show, Don Giovanni hosts another fan favorite, it’s the Italian House Party.

I had an opportunity to talk with my long-time friend and broadcast colleague on WNBF’s First News Binghamton yesterday, about what it means to be back on AM 1290 once again.

Don Giovanni was one of the first people I met when I came to WNBF in 1987, a soft spoken man with a kind presence that makes you feel like a friend.

His shows are soothing and full of great music and conversation, with special guests.

Like many of us Don was introduced to radio by some of the biggest personalities in the history of Binghamton radio.

We had two of them join us on the show yesterday, Bill Flynn and Roger Neel.

The conversations were heartfelt and sincere, and as Don Giovanni said, he feels blessed to be able to come back to WNBF for his radio Swan Song.
