Distracted Driving Blamed for Serious Crash
Pennsylvania State Police say a Bradford County woman is believed to have suffered serious injuries when she crashed into a tree after becoming distracted while driving.
Police say 29 year old Mindy Adams of Laceyville was driving her Dodge Journey Sport Utility Vehicle on County Line Road in Tuscarora Township at 10:32 a.m. February 13 when her vehicle left the road and hit the tree head-on.
Adams had to be removed from the SUV by members of the Goodwill and Tuscarora Fire Departments using mechanical means.
She was taken to Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre.
Troopers say Adams was wearing a seat belt but expect traffic tickets to be issued.
