Dickinson Convenience Store Robbed

A man armed with what appeared to be a gun made off with some cash in a reported early-morning robbery at a Manley's Mighty Mart store.

Authorities say the heist at the store on Downs Avenue in the town of Dickinson happened around 2:00 a.m. Tuesday.

Investigators say the weapon used was described as a black and brown semi-automatic style handgun.

The store clerk was not hurt in the incident.

The man was last seen on foot outside the store in the area of Downs Avenue.

According to the Broome County Sheriff's Office, the robber was said to be wearing black pants with two wide white stripes down each side. He also was wearing light grey sneakers with white soles. He wore a black zip-up hoodie sweatshirt with white drawstrings.
