Deposit Fire Department to Hold Child Safety Seat Check

The Deposit Fire Department, the Broome County Sheriff's Office, and the Broome County Traffic Safety Program, will be holding a child safety seat check event.

Families can have child safety seats installed and inspected by Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians.  Educational materials will also be available.

Anyone planning to attend the event should bring their child safety seat(s), their children, the vehicle the seat will be installed into, and the manuals for the seat and the vehicle.

Inspections will be done on a first come, first serve basis.

The event will take place on Saturday, October 6th at the Deposit Fire Department on Second Street from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
