Delaware County Men Accused of Animal Abuse

Two Town of Hancock men are accused of animal abuse.

Delaware County Sheriff’s officials say 20 year old Taylor Morris and 28 year old Stephen Tanner were arrested January 20^th following a report of animal abuse at a home on County Highway 17 in Fishes Eddy.

The men are accused of abandoning two dogs at their former East Branch home without providing sustenance.

The dogs were seized and sent to the Delaware Humane Society.

Tanner and Morris are charged with failing to provide sustenance and were ordered to appear in Town of Hancock Court at a later date.
