Two inmates in the Delaware County Correctional Facility were arrested on drug charges Friday. A third inmate, now in state prison, has also been charged.

Officials started an investigation after Suboxone was found during a routine search earlier in the week.

Investigators allege that 33-year-old Chad Ostrander of Grand Gorge smuggled the controlled substance into the jail on June 8th.  They say that Ostrander gave the drug to fellow inmates...32-year old Randy Condon, Junior and 30-year-old Justin Crandall, both from Sidney.

Ostrander and Crandall were arraigned on felony charges of promoting prison contraband, criminal sale of a controlled substance, and criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Ostrander was sent back to the Delaware County Correction Facility without bail.  Crandall was ordered held in lieu of 10-thousand dollars cash or 20-thousand dollars bond.

Condon will be arraigned on the same charges at a later date.  He had already been returned to state prison Thursday because his parole was revoked.
