The casino location board in New York State says it will make its recommendations as to which locations should be granted gaming licenses on December 17.

The panel had been expected to make its recommendations at the end of October or mid-November.

The board met November 24 to review the 16 applications for a possible four licenses and will meet again next month.  Three applications are in the running for the Southern Tier-Finger Lakes region.

The regional applications are Tioga Downs Casino in Nichols, Tioga County, Traditions at the Glen in the Town of Union, Broome County and Lago Resort and Casino proposed for Tyre in Seneca County.
