Binghamton’s Cupid’s Chase Supports Neighbors With Disabilities
Just because a person might live with a handicap doesn't mean they should be deprived of all of the wonderful things that life has to offer and thanks to Community Options, they don't have to.
Community Options is a gem right here in the Southern Tier which helps so many individuals and their families. If you're not familiar with Community Options, they're a non-profit organization and they believe that every single person deserves dignity and that they should be allowed to experience life to the fullest, regardless of whatever their disability might be. Community Options works hard to provide housing, support services and advocacy assistance to help empower people with disabilities right here in our community.
To raise money and to help support their programs Community Options is holding their 30th anniversary with a 5K Cupid’s Chase on Saturday, February 9th in downtown Binghamton at the corner of Hawley and Court Streets.
Registration starts at 8 a.m. and the race begins at 10 a.m. with all proceeds benefiting local members of our community with disabilities. If you'd like to put a team together, you can register for the 2019 Cupid's Chase here.
If you're not a runner or not a fan of the cold, you can still help by becoming a virtual participant. Learn how to become a virtual participant here.
