Broome County reports seven more deaths and Chenango County reports one more life lost to the pandemic February 8.

As of the February 9 report, Broome’s death toll stands at 289 with a total of 13,015 cases.  That’s an addition of 63 from the previous report. Chenango’s death toll is at 48. There were 12 new cases for a total of 2,249.

There were no additional deaths reported February 9 in Cortland, Delaware and Tioga Counties.

Cortland reported 3,369 total cases, an addition of seven with 61 deaths.  Delaware County has nine new cases for a total of 1,289 and 39 deaths. And Tioga County reported 20 additional cases from the last update for a total of 2,672.  There have been 68 deaths.

In Pennsylvania over the past week. Bradford County passed the 4,000 mark for total COVID-19 cases at f4,102, an addition of 164 cases. There were four more deaths for a total of 73.

Susquehanna County had 77 new cases for the week for a total of 1,601. There were two more deaths for a total of 51 and Wayne County added 111 new cases for a total of 2,825. There were 9 additional deaths for a total of 56.
