Cortland Woman Accused of Burglarizing Box Factory Twice

A Cortland woman is charged with several felony counts in connection with two burglaries at the McGraw Box Factory in May.

30-year-old Amanda Race is charged with two felony counts of burglary, felony grand larceny, and petit larceny for allegedly stealing tools and thousands of dollars-worth of copper wire.

Cortland County Sheriff’s officials say the break-in happened overnight on May 17 to the 18^th and then on May 19^th to the 20^th.

The investigation is continuing.

Race was released to await her next date in Town of Cortlandville Court later this month.
